Position Title: Account Manager

Bitwise is seeking to hire an account manager (AM) who is responsible for the management, growth and deepening of the commitment level of assigned client relationships. The account manager interacts with client stakeholders in order to build a rich, ongoing relationship, ensuring each client is aware of all of our service offerings and enjoys the Bitwise Experience. We are looking for candidates who demonstrate resourcefulness, strong communication skills and experience.  Previous work experience in sales and/or relationship management is a must.

Position Goals

The goals associated with this position include:
  • identifying, negotiating and closing new opportunities with existing clients in need of our services
  • assisting clients in the planning of a new website design, development, digital marketing and on-going website management needs
  • positively contributing to our corporate culture and sense of teamwork

Activities

The following duties comprise this position:
  • ensure the client enjoys the Bitwise Experience
  • deep understanding of each client’s account (website history, services provided, etc.)
  • client representation within the firm (aka the “voice of the client”)
  • client expectation management
  • client “training” on core products such as Kentico and Hubspot
  • requirements gathering and definition for new engagements
  • periodic website analytics review
  • proposal creation, presentation
  • ensuring new services are properly introduced to existing clients
  • individual sales pipeline management
  • closing new opportunities within our existing client base

The ideal candidate will possess the following attributes, background and experiences:
  • experience in sales, in particular, account management
  • a natural propensity for resourcefulness and self-motivation
  • experience in preparing account-level expansion strategies
  • solid communications and writing skills
  • intrinsically detail oriented and thorough in follow through
  • a solid understanding of website and digital marketing terminology, technology, etc.

Time Allocation

We expect you will spend the following (approximate) time on task for the high-level activities:
  • strategizing, planning, monitoring and organizing client website strategies            50%
  • assisting, training and directing clients consistent with website strategies              20%
  • proposal development, presentation, follow up and closure                                    20%
  • ongoing client relationship management assistance                                               10%

Expectations

  • compensation for this position is salary commensurate with experience and plus graduated commissions
  • generate $400k to $750k in new business from existing clients per year
  • expense reimbursement for customary expenses including cell phone, mileage, etc.
  • represent our firm with professionalism in all matters at all times

Atmosphere
